Established in 1989
Our Dance School is celebrating its 35th year of business. From our unique family atmosphere to our well set up dance studio, we have worked hard to create a well run studio that offers personal dance training for all ages.
Classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Theatrecraft, Contemporary, Competition and Examination work. All classes taught by Catherine Croad FIDTA Examiner & Registered NZAMD teacher, and by Bronya Davies AIDTA Cathy has been dancing since 2 and teaching since 18, so many years of experience. Our Dance school opened on 31st January 1989, by Inger Perkins ( Cathy's Mum). It was formerly know as the Inger Perkins School Of Dance, and began in Otaki. Eventually the names of Mother and daughter were combined to create the Catherine Inger School Of Dance, and we moved to our permanent home in Power Street, Levin. Cathy is fully qualified in all dance subjects and also an examiner for the International Dance Teachers Association, as well as a registered teacher for NZAMD.
We offer classes that are small and personal, and the offer expert advice in dance training. It is important to us that your dance experience with us is enjoyable and productive. We conduct yearly examinations in IDTA Ballet, Tap, Modern jazz, Theatre craft and also NZAMD contemporary. There is also the opportunity to study for IDTA Dance Teacher Qualifications.

Cathy Croad
Managing Director
Fully qualified dance teacher with 35 years experience as well as being a qualified IDTA examiner. Cathy was born in the Isle of Man and moved to New Zealand in 1991.
Bronya Davies
Dance Teacher
Associate dance teacher qualification with IDTA since 2003, specialising in ballet and jazz. Bronya is also a qualified secondary teacher with 18 years experience.
